The Shelter Video Project (trailer)

A video project collaboration between Mashed Economies and women living, or who have lived, at a women’ shelter in Toronto (Tkoronto). This video project takes place within the context of a gentrifying neighbourhood and is organized through three spaces: a women’s homeless shelter; a social housing building (deemed for mental health consumer/survivors, many of whom have shelter experience); and a city park (historically claimed by low-income community).
