(more) Utopia is a diptych of two photographs. The frame was ripped out of an old Gothic building that was being gentrified. I built in lights behind the top of the frame to create a halo effect.
One photo is a very atomized long shot of the city from the air and the other shot is a very close up of my bare feet after walking all day in that city with blisters on my heels. A disjunction between two disparate views and two disparate forms that have been pushed together awkwardly, in order to focus dissonance.
